Chapter IX: The Immortal

Authors Note: It's been a fun run, and I've learned a lot from doing this comic, but changes in my life dictate that it's time to move on from this project. it is sad to say that this is the last complete chapter of Aeternus I will be releasing for the time being. I do have an unfinished chapter X that I hope to sketch out to release in an unfinished form, but past that I'm not sure what the future holds for Aeternus. All I know is that while this may be the end for this Webcomic, it is not the end of Aeternus and this story that I want to tell. These 9 chapters have barely even scratched the surface of everything I have planned for these characters. I don't know what form Aeternus will take in the future, but I fully plan on returning to this story, whether it be a remake, a physical graphic novel, or perhaps something else. either way, thanks for reading this far! -J.M.
